Race Information Pack
Ultra 4 Cancer Lapland is an event that takes place in the snow and ice of Northern Sweden. It offers three race distances to choose from. A 100km distance over two days, 50km or 25km over one day. With relaxed cut offs at check points meaning all distances are achievable for runners and walkers.
Taking place in January, the climate conditions for the race will be cold and frozen, where lows can reach -25 degrees but highs can reach +3 degrees. The terrain is a mixture of snowmobile trails, boreal forest and frozen lakes.
Our campsite for the 100km distance will be inside a building. With heating, toilets and showers available.
Whichever distance you choose, you will be treated with stunning views every step of the way. With the potential to see arctic wildlife and the Northern Lights. Plus a beautiful Lapland finish line, this is a once in a lifetime event!

Route Details
100Km Route
For the 100km race, expect stunning scenery across the Swedish Lapland.
Following snowmobile trails through forest and across frozen lakes. With some frozen roads.
Check points are roughly every 10km and in a warm building/tent.
GPX available soon.
50Km Route
The 50km race will follow the same path as the 100km race on day two.
Starting at the 100km campsite building, and winding back to the same finish line.
With check points roughly every 10km.
GPX available soon.
25Km Route
The 25km race is the final 25km of the 100km and 50km course.
Starting at its own point and winding back to the same finish line as the other distances.
With check points roughly every 10km.
GPX available soon.
Cut Offs
Our aim is to get as many runners/walkers to the finish line, so our cut offs are very generous. On the 100km you’ll have over 16 minutes per KM, so on average you will have between 2-3hrs to complete each 10km section. On the 25km, you’ll have even longer.

If You Don’t Finish
In the scenario that you cannot finish a stage on the race, we will transfer you to the finish line for that day. If this is day one of the 100km and you don’t want to camp the night, we can transfer you back to the hotel, but you will need to sort your own accommodation out for that night. You will receive a finishers medal but you won’t receive an official result if you DNF/DNS.
